Oil fired miller Mobil home furnace installed with new 4” smoke pipe and new thermostat.

This is why you should have your oil boilers/furnaces that are vented into chimneys with stove pipe cleaned and serviced EVERY year! Sometimes twice a year. Hydronic boilers with domestic hot water coils that maintain temperature all year round for your domestic hot water needs run all year.

These are 2 - 7 inch stove pipes venting into a chimney that only had less than 2 inches at the top of the chimney base to vent. Systems are not able to properly vent and in an event of a spot blockage very closely to this, can become a quick disaster for your systems and home.

Preventative maintenance is key!
