We all have gifts, talents, and traits that shape who we become. Even the way we look can influence the path we walk.

But here’s the problem…

The enemy wants you to believe that who you are doesn’t measure up to who she is.
He whispers that your gift doesn’t get as much attention.
Your talent hasn’t been rewarded like hers.
Your humor, kindness, servant heart, intelligence, organization skills, or leadership haven’t made you as popular as her.
Your looks haven’t made you noticeable like her.

But know this…

When you measure your life by what is happening in her life, you stop growing.

Because those gifts, talents, traits, and attributes in you?
They are seeds God planted. Seeds meant to grow in your soil, in your season, in your valley.

But seeds can’t grow if they are not watered.

And comparison is spiritual drought.

God never asked you to bloom like her.
He asked you to be faithful with what He planted in you.
He asked you to trust His timing, His watering, His sunlight, His pruning, His process.

So stop staring at her garden.

Tend to your own.

Because when God waters the seeds in your valley, the flowers that bloom will be the kind only you could grow. 🌸

Callie Mac is resting this morning after walking a marathon last night. She ate 3 times as well, after 10 pm. This doggie dementia is hard. 😕
Think she is making up for sleeping 18 hours the last few days. Love this old girl so much! Lhasa Apsos are the best little girls.
