What a week!!
Our Summer Junior Farmer Camp was fresh, fun, and full of growth. โจ๐ฑ
Last week, our Junior Farmers spent five unforgettable days digging, planting, harvesting, creating, cooking, learning, and making new friends.
From garden chores and harvesting fresh produce to tie-dye, seed saving, poetry workshops, nutrition lessons, and garden-inspired games, every day was packed with hands-on experiences that connected kids to their food, their environment, and each other.
Together, our campers helped prepare delicious farm to table lunches alongside our new to camp; Seasoned Junior Farmers
We made salsa, processed sugar cane, crafted living necklaces and wildflower seed bombs, harvested herbs, fruits, and vegetables, learned kid-friendly cooking skills, squeezed fresh lemonade, and cooled off with water balloon tosses, sprinkler runs, and a garden themed obstacle course.
Most importantly, we watched confidence bloom, creativity flourish, and friendships grow.
Thank you to all of our Junior Farmers, families, volunteers, and community partners who helped make this camp so special. We canโt wait to do it all again this winter! ๐ป๐
