We are experiencing heightened danger from trees that have fallen over or been uprooted, due to the high winds. Severe weather events, particularly the lingering effects of Hurricane Helene combined with the recent winter storms, have significantly increased the risk of tree failures across Western North Carolina.

Although we scaled back a few months ago for Self-Care we are making ourselves available at this time, so reach out if you need us. Take good care of yourselves, and please:

● Be Alert - Exercise extreme caution when traveling through wooded areas or forests, especially in higher elevations.
● Watch for Leaning Trees - Be aware of trees that may have become unstable or are leaning after previous storms.
● Monitor Conditions - Follow updates from local, state, and national weather services regarding ice and wind, as these conditions significantly increase the hazard.

The Origins of Beast Coast: Love

It just occurred to us that we have never celebrated Beast Coast Tree Climbers LLC 's origins. So, what better day than today? Let us go back in time to where it all began...

Beast Coast was born in the fall of 2019 from the Love, Excitement, and Vision of two extraordinary people: Almon R Cox and Carolina Paredes-Cox .

These two were crazy inlove and ready to create an amazing company that would change the Treecare industry for the better.

Beast Coast was founded on Love, Integrity, and Community.

They started with one truck and some chainsaws. They created a badass logo, and some awesome t-shirts, hats, and stickers, along with a great website.

They're mission was simple: Provide Stress Free Treecare for the community with safety and professionalism, and help other Treeworkers adopt self-care practices for a sustainable and safe work-life.

A year later, on December of 2020, Beast Coast partnered up with Burke Outdoor to create Canopy Class - An educational platform for individuals working or interested in arboriculture with an emphasis on safety.

On October of 2021 they began their first podcast Canopy Insider https://www.canopyinsider.com/ and on December 10 of 2021 Beast Coast Tree Climbers became an LLC.

They've seen a lot, have been through a lot, and have grown from the inside out, like their love for each other. Through the years they've stayed true to their mission and values and today Beast Coast is a solid company who continues to deliver Stress Free Treecare and helps many Treeworkers nationwide to have better work environments, be safer, and take better care of themselves.

Love, is the best foundation. We highly recommend it if you're looking to build anything meaningful that will have a positive effect on other people's lives and the world.

We are very grateful for all the wonderful people we have served, as well as the incredible women and men we have the honor and privilege of working with in this wonderful industry.

To all our friends and beloved clients who've called, texted, and reached out through Facebook to check on us: We Love You, thank you so much ❤️

To all who are waiting patiently on our list: We are getting through the list as quickly and as effectively and efficiently as we can.

With communication and gas still being a challenge we want to make sure we have a current list of clients who still need our help. Knowing that you've been taken care of helps us quickly move to the next person. Please message us here or text us - whatever works.

We love and appreciate all of you.

Remember to be kind to each other on the road as you're driving. Be kind when standing in line. Be kind to all the people that are servicing you like the store clerks, people who are making food, linemen/women, semi drivers who are transporting goods, people who are cleaning up the mess, etc.

Remember to breathe, cry as much as you need to, and do what you can with what you have. Don't think about the future too much, stay here in the present moment. This moment is all we have right now. Take good care of yourself please, and take good care of others.

Friends, If you don't have to be out driving: PLEASE STAY HOME. There has been a significant increase in traffic, specifically near gas stations, blocking all lanes. This is extremely dangerous.

Medical and Emergency Personel need gas to do their work. Storm Work Emergency crews (like us) need to get gas so we can get trees off of houses, structures, roads, cars, etc. We need gas to power our saws and equipment.

If you need supplies: Organize, and send out one car from the neighborhood or a couple of folks to get what is needed for a group instead of everyone independently getting in a vehicle.

The quicker we can all do our work and make progress: The better for everyone.
