May 1st, these beds were bare soil and hope.
May 30th, they're overflowing.

30 days. That's all it took. 30 days of showing up. Watering. Weeding. Waiting. And look at what grew.

This garden started as a hobby. Then it became therapy. Then it became a classroom for my kids. Then it became a ministry. Now it's a legacy.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but: start. Whatever it is — the garden, the business, the relationship, the healing — just start. You don't need the perfect plan. You need a seed and the willingness to show up for 30 days.

Thank you for growing with me this month. June is about to be even better.

What grew in YOUR life this month? Drop it below. I want to celebrate with you.

The squash bed is OUT OF CONTROL and I am HERE for it.

Yellow squash and zucchini are the most generous plants in the garden. You plant two and they feed the whole neighborhood. The blossoms are gorgeous, the fruit comes fast, and the kids actually eat it (if you bread and fry it... but still).

Pro tip: harvest summer squash when they're 6-8 inches. Smaller = more tender and flavorful. Let them get too big and they turn into baseball bats.

What's your go-to summer squash recipe? I need new ideas because we are DROWNING in zucchini.

In the garden, we call it companion planting. Two different plants, growing side by side, making each other stronger.

Basil protects the tomato. The tomato gives the basil shade. They're not the same plant. They don't grow the same way. But together? They thrive.

That's what a good partnership looks like. You don't need someone who's exactly like you. You need someone whose strengths cover your weaknesses. Someone who grows differently but grows WITH you.

Find your companion plant. And be one.

Who's the person in your life that makes you better just by being next to you? Tag them.
