Before the reveal… there’s always the hunt!!

For these South Carolina cabins from the 1800s, the design had to do more than just look good—it had to honor the history and incorporate meaningful memorabilia from the owners.

That pushed me in a direction I don’t normally go… and honestly, challenged me in the best way.

Blending old pieces, personal stories, and fresh design to create something that still feels cozy and timeless.

Subtle, but powerful. 🤍

I warmed up the trim instead of matching it — and it completely changed the mood.

Alabaster walls.
Accessible Beige trim.

Calm, layered, and grounded in that soft lake light. Lake houses should feel serene… but never flat.

Last week at IBS + KBIS was a blur in the best way.
