My passion for organizing began at a young age. As I got older, I began to explore my love of organizing and redefining spaces in my own home and the homes of my family and close friends. I was so excited when they would allow me to organize their closets, garages, kitchens etc. This not only helped me develop my organizational skills and boost my confidence but it also fed my passion for creating perfectly organized spaces. For me it was instant gratification seeing the “Before & After”. I remember the joy I felt when I saw the expression on their faces upon revealing the after! This positive reinforcement was the justification I needed to keep pursuing my dream of becoming a professional organizer. I realized then I had a special gift. A unique talent not everyone possessed. I pride myself on thinking outside the box in order to find creative solutions for difficult problems. One of my strengths as an organizer is defining my clients way of organizing. Every client is different and unique in how they function in their own space. Having patience, understanding and compassion for client’s possessions is a must during this challenging process as well. Some people dread hiring an organizer because they feel organizers just want to rid their stuff. This is not true. Our goal is to find a home for their stuff so it is easily accessible and efficient . When clients begin to show their homes, they instantly feel overwhelmed, embarrassed and defeated. They say “ I just don’t know where to begin to make it work!” Educating my clients is the most important tool in order to break the cycle of disorganization. When they learn the categorizing systems I provide, they feel empowered and in control of their space. There is hope if they are open to change and willing to trust the process. It’s my job to provide attainable goals, guidance and simple solutions in order to maintain an efficient functional space. Simple organizational changes can have a huge impact on how we function day to day. My mission is to share my gift with others and bring balance to their homes and serenity to their lives.
