We were called down to Poplar Bluff MO to take care of this situation. Heavy undermining of the soil caused the root wad to heave, after the pair of naders and 10” of rain the other week. Zero access for a lift, due to the terrain. I don’t know that there was a crane in the area with enough stick either, it was about 180’ from the roadway. We created a back stay system to keep it up right. Then free cut what we could. The rigging system was built up a separate tree, and spanned to this one to help transfer some of the load forces. When it came time to send the final lateral and tops she got a little more unstable. We were fortunate enough at that point to have enough space to lay it over, after the lateral was removed. 11.5 hours on site and 7 hours of driving, but it’s down unable to cause harm to property or personnel. Big shoutout to David Shaw and affordable tree for the referral and ground support. Ms Miller has been a long term client for them to my understanding, and David chose collaboration over doing something sketchy.

With the forecast of the day and week keep us in mind for your storm damage. The inbound system poses significant threats of wind hail and Nader damage. IF ITS DOWN ON A POWER LINE DO NOT ATTEMPT IT! If it’s down the line and power is out, but the neighbors generator is running, it can back feed thru the system and energize whatever is being touched. We are experts in hazard removals and restoration pruning.

Objective of an aerial inspection is to inspect the points of attachment for weak attachment and over extension of leads. We look for crossing and girdling branch structure. We establish whether or not a cable may be required. We looking at previous wounds and establish whether or not it is sealing or beginning to rot. We look for potential bio mechanical failures as well as pests.

Today, we finished removing an ash for these clients that had already decided to start removing itself last summer when 2/3 of the canopy failed and broke into both neighboring yards. Failure was 2 pronged due to previously having been topped, and EAB (emerald ash borer beetles) starting to run their course. So, the rest of the canopy had to go to protect the home it sprawled over the top of. Couldn’t have done it without the help of A&S Tree Care on the ropes for me to make sure nothing hit the house! Collaboration project with A&S Tree Care in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Logan and I were called down to rig out this 5’6”DBH hog of a sycamore that was sprawling over the top of the customers home, 2 sheds, shallow buried gas lines, and propane tank for the home. Always a fun time when we get to put our heads together and put some material on the ground!
