👩‍🏫 So, let’s have a little education lesson!

FENCING 101:
🛠Decide whether you would like pine or cedar. Yes! Pine is cheaper but cedar lasts longer. Also, if you go with cedar make sure you use western red cedar there are some cheaper “cedars” out there that aren’t really cedar.
🛠Make sure galvanized nails are used. Otherwise they will rust and then the pickets will shift!
🛠We always recommend a rot-board or kick-board. These will extend the life of your fence because it keeps your pickets off the ground and you can just replace the rot-board and get more life in your fence.
🛠 2 support rail fences will warp and break much quicker than a 3 support rail fence.
🛠Always call Texas 811 and get all utilities marked before the project begins.

Other tips:
🥰Be kind and patient with companies during times like this.
🤜Understand that materials may be hard to find.
🏡 Always check with your HOA and see what their requirements are for fences. You don’t want to have to rip out a fence because it goes against your HOA.
🤝In a large city like this you can always find someone to do a job for less money. At HomePROS:RI, we won’t be the cheapest quote but it will be a fair quote and the job will be done right and we won’t disappear on you!
