Be honest… how many of us have done this at some point? 👀

You don’t need more decor… you need better decisions.

I see this all the time people keep adding pieces hoping it’ll “come together,” but without intention, it just creates more noise.

Good design is less about how much you have, and more about how everything works together.
Sometimes the fix isn’t buying more… it’s stepping back and editing what’s already there.

Making my bed inspired today’s post ✨ I get asked this all the time, so here’s a quick look at how I layer my beds and create that clean, cozy feel that sets the tone for the week.

Flashback Friday ✨ A reminder that it’s always the little details that bring a space to life. The textures, the tones, the feeling… it all matters.

Install Day Anxiety… the Things We Don’t Say Out Loud 😅

* Will everything actually go as planned… or is today about to humble me?Because timelines look great on paper… until install day.

* Are all the decor pieces intact?Nothing like opening a box and hearing that dreaded clink.

* What’s going to break today?Because let’s be honest—something always does.(This is why I always bring backup filler pieces… just in case.)

* Is the house clean and ready… or are we doing a pre-clean before we even start?Sometimes install day starts with moving things out of the way first.

* Will the house actually be empty like we planned? (preferred 😅)Or are we designing around people, pets, and real life happening in real time.

* Are all the trades actually showing up today?Because one delay = a domino effect.

* Will the client LOVE it?The biggest one. Every. Single. Time.

* Expecting the unexpected… always. At this point, it’s part of the process.

* Will we have an audience while we work? (not preferred 😂)Nothing like being watched while fluffing pillows and styling shelves.

Tips for surviving a full-scale remodel 🤪: rule #1 is always expect the unexpected. Something will always pop up that wasn’t in the original plan, and you just have to pivot if needed, solve the problem and keep the project moving!

It’s all fun and games until your have to find somewhere for it to go 😅🥴

No one really talks about the process it takes to transform a home from what it once was into its untapped potential. The finished product is always beautiful… but getting there? Not so much lol. We’re almost there 🙌🏽

Pre-staging before the final placement 🤍
I like to live with pieces first, move them around, and let the space tell me where they belong.
Same thing I do at HomeGoods, I gather, edit, and feel the flow.
