Never in all my years could I ever have imagined that people would appreciate my artwork. Never.

But with a little push from my wonderful husband, and a whole lot of prayer, it feels so wonderful to put myself out there in such vulnerability. Then to have patrons like YOU support me…. Oof.

I am literally living my childhood dream. 🥹

To the little girl who drew on the back of her exams and couldn’t wait for art class,

To the teenager that stayed up way too late experimenting with canvas and color,

To the young adult who fell over in the college parking lot trying desperately to haul a bag of clay to her ceramics final,

To the mother that finally picked up a paintbrush after putting her dreams on hold for so long,

You made it. And you’re supported well. And Jesus loves you fiercely.

Sidenote: one of these days I’m going to create a compilation of every amazing art instructor I’ve had in my life. They truly keep the art world turning.

And yes, I did actually fall flat on my face trying to haul a massive clay block through a parking lot. It was embarrassing. So thank you to the gentleman that helped me, I pray you’re living the best life and that your momma is proud of you! ☺️

This one had me a bit emotional, with a few tears shed in the process. If you’ve ever had the chance to meet Duke, I think you’d understand. He’s such a majestic creature with the personality of a sweet dog. He even made an appearance in our engagement photos just because he wanted to say “hi” 🥹❤️ thank you for your support!
