So I have a client...
I've done Christmas lights for this client at a very low rate. I give low rates so clients will use me for other work, like lawn maintenance or annual mulch. My mulch rate is $100 a yard. That's material, deliver and install. In addition for the area if you need hedge trimming, w**d eating and disposal i include that as part of the price. Around this clients house she required 14 yards of mulch. I gave her a discount for $1100. She responded that I said I'd do it for $550 and if I couldn't do it at that rate I couldn't do the job. She said someone else said they could also do it for $550. I passed on the job. I like to do good work and good work cost. So she went with the other company. For comparison please review my previous post of work completed. This is what this lady received. At first glance looks fine. The only problem is that the material is supposed to be about 3 inches for annual use. This isn't even a half inch. People you get what you pay for.
