From what I often hear it seems toy storage is the bane of most mamas’ existence. The key to wrangling all those parts and pieces is to divide and conquer. Divide the toys into categories. i.e. puzzles, cars, dolls, etc. Then conquer by containing them all in separate, but cohesive labeled bins. Finally, instill the one in/one out rule.. Another bin can’t be pulled out until the previous one is put away. 💯 //

Did you know investing in good pantry organization can help save money in the long run on your grocery bill? Especially for those with deep shelves like this one. We used deep drawer bins for this client, so she can quickly see & access what she has before heading to the store. No more ending up with 8 cans of tomato sauce buried in the back. 🙌🏻

It was this cutie’s birthday yesterday, so he joined us! We chatted about marriage, compromise & how all that ties into organization. One thing is for sure... I was blessed with the most patient & supportive husband. Because this type A gal is just cray sometimes. But he embraces that, loves me for me & never makes me feel less than. 😘

This home is ready for entertaining! Yesterday I helped a special client organize her china cabinet, and now she can grab her serving pieces with ease. The best part? We didn’t spend a dime on supplies. Just reconfigured what the home already had to maximize the space! 👏🏻

Are you an entertainer? My generation is losing the appreciation for fine china and a good dinner party, but this old soul will do what I can to keep it alive.. Once we have enough space for an actual dining table. 😉

Did you know having an abundance of choices in our day can lead to mental fatigue & often not making a decision at all? We experience this in our homes when we have an abundance of clothes to choose from in our closet, or too many meal options in the pantry. That’s why you would often see Steve Jobs in the same black ensemble. He had a lot of decisions to make each day, so what to wear wasn’t high on the priority list. 🕴

As Americans we tend to over complicate things with an abundance of stuff and lack of routine, creating choice overload. I believe we were meant to live far simpler lives than that. I desire for our homes to be a source of JOY, not chaos! I want to help you reclaim your space by cutting down the clutter & choices, so you can spend valuable time focusing on making memories with those you love. ❤️

Something in me just knew 2018 was going to be a big year. My husband and I rung in the new year by celebrating our anniversary in New Zealand. As cheesy as it sounds we spent a lot of our time there talking about our hopes, dreams & what we ultimately want for our lives.. That place and trip changed my heart & stirred me in ways a vacation never had before. I always say I feel God’s presence most when I’m in His creation..nature. And boy was New Zealand surrounded by some of His best work. 🙌🏻
•
Here we are 6 months later, and I’m following through on something that seemed like a “what-if”. Did you hear the BIG news? Today I walked away from my corporate accounting career of 10 years to pursue full-time! It’s surreal & nerve-racking, but most of all completely exciting! If you only knew the mental journey it took to get me here.. maybe I’ll write a long-winded blog post about it one day. 🤔
•
So, today I’m grateful for the chance to take risks on the what-ifs. I love my husband for so many reason, but high in that list today is his support of my dreams. I’m humbled my the Lord for getting me here, and consistently showing me His ways are the best ways. ❤️

Some days I feel like I’m one of the gals who could totally cut and install my own backsplash tile. Others, reality sets in when it takes me over an hour to hang two shelves. 😂 But you know what.. I did it my dang self, and isn’t that like 95% of the satisfaction? 🤷‍♀️

I spent part of the long weekend working on some much needed home projects & these new shelves were part of the deal. 🙌🏻 for more efficient bathroom storage in our tiny bungalow. Don’t forget to utilize wall space for storage solutions! 💡
