All Living Earth locations are closed today so our employees can enjoy the holiday with family and friends. We’ll be back tomorrow, ready to help with whatever you’re growing or building next.

Houston may be firmly in summer mode, but fall planting season isn’t as far away as it feels. 🌳

October through February is prime tree-planting time in the Houston area, giving new trees a chance to establish roots before they have to face another Gulf Coast summer. So while August may not have us reaching for the shovel just yet, it’s a pretty good time to start planning what goes where.

Future-you - and future shade-seeking-you - may be glad you did.

A customer shared this photo after hauling home enough Living Earth 100% Aromatic Cedar Mulch to freshen up the garden... and still had the energy to joke that the real workout was spreading it all.
