This primary bathroom remodel was designed and built by TKS STUDIOS. Our client tasked us to re-configure the layout and optimized the space. We added a double under-mount sink vanity with floor-to-ceiling cabinets and a unique sliding rough iron door painted in gold. The shower was tiled from floor to ceiling with a custom built-in shampoo box, frameless shower glass, and matching gold finish hardware thru out. For this master bathroom remodel located on Blossom street in Houston Texas we began by reconfiguring the layout. The new sinks which are elevated above the countertop give this bathroom an upscale feel. The lighting selected for this project by our designer really works to bring a luxurious feel to the space. The natural tile used on the floor and the walls were specifically laid out with a pattern that set this shower apart from any other. The plumbing fixtures bring everything together with a eye-catching chrome finish.

You never know what you will find under the drywall during a remodel. On this remodel project we had about 2 feet of the top plate missing because the termites had eaten thru it and had started up the rafters. This is now more then a cosmetic fix and will have to properly replace the framing members to do the job right.

Hanging these custom built sliding barn doors was no easy task. Each door is 9 feet tall by 6 feet wide. The doors where fabricated on site and painted on site. We had to source specific hardware to accommodate such large units. All this work paid off in the end, as the doors turned out looking amazing.

For this landscaping project the homeowners wanted something low maintenance around their pool. The existing grass in between the pavers would grow to fast making it hard for them to enjoy their pool. We explored multiple gravel options but those were going to be to small and might inevitably end up inside the pool. We settled on this beautiful Mexican beach pebble. We think it came out looking too notch. What do you think?

It is all in the details. A sneak peak of our latest bathroom remodel project. The blue glass tile on the back of the shampoo box is just the right amount of contrast. All this Montrose area home needs is some TLC(tender love and care). Once we are done replacing some of the old cedar siding , trim and giving the house a fresh coat of paint it will be restored to it's former glory. For the age of the home the cedar siding has held fairly well except for some areas were the paint had faded and cracked but was not touched up so water was slowly rotting the boards. We suggest you up keep your paint and caulk so it does not turn into a more expensive repair.
