I know most have seen this on Lacy’s page & I’ll admit when she first brought this idea up, I honestly thought she was a little crazy. 😂
But the more I thought about it, the more I realized how much kids today just aren’t getting taught basic hands-on skills anymore.

I’ve hired grown men that didn’t know how to use a ratchet strap, didn’t know the difference between a flathead and Phillips screwdriver, or had never even been shown simple things most of us grew up learning.

That’s not their fault either.
Somebody just never took the time to teach them.

So we decided maybe we could do a small part to help change that.

This isn’t about making money.
This isn’t some big business idea.
That’s exactly why we made it completely FREE.

We just want kids to come learn something real for a few hours. How to use tools. How to problem solve. How to work with their hands. How to build confidence by actually DOING something.

And honestly? If one kid leaves feeling a little more confident, learns how to help his mom fix something around the house one day, or grows up not being scared to try something new… then it’s worth it.

The younger groups are almost full, but we still have several openings for the older kids if anyone is interested.

I truly think this could be something special for these kids.

We hauled a machine to Rosenberg, loaded 11 — 30 foot concrete barriers, then transported them to Splendora where we had a second machine ready to unload and set everything in place.

Another local job in progress for Corbin Supply in Cleveland.

We got the chain link fence up and also started on some rock work at the same location. Now we’re just waiting on city approval to add the barbwire across the top so we can get this one fully wrapped up.

Even with a few things out of our hands, we keep the job moving where we can. Fence work, dirt work, rock work — we’re getting it done.
