- 1 1โ„2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1โ„2 tsp salt
- 1โ„2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1โ„2 cup whole milk, room temperature
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa), melted
- 8 oz milk chocolate, melted
- 8 oz white chocolate, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional for glaze)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter (optional for glaze)

1. Make the Cake: Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (180ยฐC). Grab a 9-inch round cake pan, then line and grease it to prevent sticking. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder until well combined. Now, add the milk, eggs, and vanilla extractโ€”mix until you get a smooth batter. 2. Prepare the Mousse Layers: Melt each type of chocolate (dark, milk, and white) separatelyโ€”give them a moment to cool slightly. While they cool, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until you reach stiff peaks. Divide this whipped cream into three portions, and gently fold one portion into each melted chocolate. Be gentle to keep that heavenly airy texture!

3. Assemble the Cake: Place your cooled cake layer on a serving plate or in a springform pan. Itโ€™s time to get creativeโ€”spread the dark chocolate mousse first, then the milk chocolate mousse, and finish with the white chocolate mousse.
