Story Time.
When this clients home got built about 20 years ago, they must have been looking for the stud from the outside? This pipe has 8 holes in the back of it and one nail that was all the way through until it rusted out.
Since the holes are half way up the back side while running horizontally; I assume it never started leaking until a clog started at the nail that was all the way through.
Luckily the water was not making it to the first floor and was running out on the side of the house where the brick met the stucco.
Wild stuff.
Please don't judge my sheetrock repair, there is less that 3 cubic feet to work under this cabinet.
I cut the hole in two peices so i could put each peice back on either side of the drain.
No one will ever see this repair and i was laying on my side like a beached whale trying to repair this hahaha
