Our newest Corridor Rescue candle is Selma!

Selma is a 3 year-old pit bull who has now spent more than 700 days waiting for a home. She’s goofy, sweet, full of energy and loves people. She can be picky about her dog friends and definitely isn’t a cat girl, but she’s ready for an active family of her own.

Her candle is Cashmere, Blackberry, Cuban vanilla, Ch*****ne and Limoncello. It’s fruity and warm without being overly sweet. We love this blend as much as we love Selma!

Selma candles are available now at Foxfire, with each purchase helping support Corridor Rescue. As always, the goal is to retire this candle when Selma gets adopted!

Today we have a happy story for you!

“Give me the dog who’s been here the longest.”

That’s what Davis’s adopter said when he went to Corridor Rescue to adopt. And just like that, one of Corridor’s longest residents finally went home.

Our Corridor Candle Collection honors four of the rescue’s longest-waiting dogs. When one of those dogs is adopted, we get to celebrate the very best kind of ending: retiring their candle and making room to feature another dog still waiting.

So it is with enormous happiness that we are retiring the Davis candle!

After waiting so long, Davis didn’t just find a home. Someone walked in specifically looking for him, even before he knew his name.

Happy tails, Davis. You were worth the wait.
