The original floor did NOT want to come up out of this house - But with some pure willpower and elbow grease we finally got it removed and replaced with flooring and baseboard that was best for this families future.

Peep the family doggos that insisted on being a part of the before and after pics too. 🐾

1 Year.

1 Year since I decided to open my revisions business from an honest view point.

1 Year of hard work.

1 Year of the unknown.

Also, 1 Year of not posting to social media because it turns out that that owning a small business and trying to live a normal life is a difficult task- but this second year of business I vow to be better about showcasing not only my work, but thanking my past clients and showing what I can offer to future ones.

Updates!

Here in this colorful home, the customer decided to get rid of the giant mirror wall to add some more color to the dining room!

This project included:

-carefully removing 3 sections of large mirrors to avoid breaking them and creating an even bigger mess, but with using adhesive on the install, we had some damage to the drywall behind

-scraping and sanding down previous adhesive, adding a couple coats of joint compound to areas damaged, sanding those areas down to hide said damages

-cleaning up areas around the cabinets, reapplying new caulk for a finished look, and adding 3 coats of this beautiful green paint!
We also touched up some spots where the mirrors blocked previous painters from getting as close as we were now able to!

This customer mentioned how she had been wanting to remove those mirrors for years now. Honest Revisions LLC is very happy to know she is satisfied and pleased with the new look!

Utilizing extra space to the fullest!

At this lovely home, the owners decided to use the extra space in their basement by creating a whole separate room. By creating 2 extra walls, some outlets, cleaning up the ceiling, adding a couple lights, drywalling it all off, and painting the inside, we were able to throw a door on and successfully add a whole private room down there.

This project included:

-preparing all areas in need by rerouting some wiring, measuring and squaring up an area to frame in 2 more walls

-adding a couple additional outlets to the room, and a switch on the inside to control 2 overhead lights. We also tapped into the duct work to add a register vent to the room to keep the climate as the thermostat would suggest

-drywall both inside and out, finished, and painted on the inside to the color of the customers preference, as well as the ceiling being painted black to help camouflage the utilities and wiring existing up there

-hanging a door, door casing, caulk to clean it up, and adding a doorknob to a new finished room

PAINT!!!

The new owners of this amazing home decided they wanted to freshen up the paint work before moving in. Going with a beautiful shade of gray, we covered in 2 coats(walls only-baseboards, door casing and crown moulding at a later date) in the office, dining room, living room, kitchen, laundry room, mud room, entry way, and upstairs hallway.

This project included:

-preparing all areas by patching and sanding down any minor damages from nails or screws from previous owners, caulking any gaps in moulding, baseboards, and casings

-covering all areas of floor to prevent paint splatter or drips onto the hardwood or carpet

-cutting in all corners and edges by hand, brushing and rolling 2 coats of fresh paint to all areas requested(including behind refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, and sink in laundry room)

-removing minimal tape used, sweeping and vacuuming floors-leaving the area as clean as before!

So here is a fresh new look finished just days before move-in for this family's new journey.
