Chimney stone veneer project.
The previous natural stone veneer had been failing, it was time to redo the veneer due to stones falling and a dangerous situation. In this situation, manufactured stone veneer was recommended due to it's lighter weight, stronger adhesion and lapping corner stones. This was done using Cultured Stones brand bucks county field stone. Process involved stripping the old stone veneer, stripping old rusty wire lathe with nails into osb and non-lapped corners, and checked the condition of the plywood for water damage.
Installation included a new 30 yr v***r barrier, new galvanized wire lathe that was screwed on, scratch coat with waterproofing mortar and new stone veneer.
