SOUP INGREDIENTS:�🍲 1/2 Medium Yellow Onion�🍲 3 large Carrots (diced) �🍲 5 Mushrooms (diced) �🍲 3 Celery Sticks (sliced) �🍲 5 Garlic Cloves (minced) �🍲 1 1/2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley (diced) �🍲 3 Bacon Slices (diced) �🍲 4 cups Low Sodium Chicken Stock�🍲 1/2 cup Heavy Cream �🍲 1/2 cup Water �🍲 2 Bay Leaves �🍲 1 teaspoon Marjoram �🍲 1/4 teaspoon Crushed Chili Pepper Flakes 🍲 1-2 cups Wild Rice (2 cups if you want more rice) �🍲 1 tablespoon Butter
�MEAT MARINADE:�🦃 2 Turkey Drumsticks or 1/2 lb Breast�🦃 2 teaspoons Salt �🦃 1/2 teaspoon Chicken Bouillon�🦃 1/2 teaspoon Cumin �🦃 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika �🦃 1 teaspoon Oregano�🦃 1/2 teaspoon Thyme
�DIRECTIONS: �- Place a pot over medium high heat with 2 cups of water and a pinch of salt. �- Once the water is boiling add in 1 cup of rice and stir a bit, let the water come back to a boil and allow it to cook on low heat for about 35 minutes or until water is fully evaporated (it could take longer) �- When the rice is done boiling, set it to the side. �- Place a large pot over medium high heat with your chopped bacon, allow it to cook for about 5 minutes or until the oil starts to seep out. �- Once it does add in the onions. And garlic and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until a bit darker in color. �- Then add in the mushrooms, celery, and carrots. Let that cook for 5 minutes or until veggies have softened just a bit. �- Afterwards add in the chicken broth, heavy cream, water, butter, bay leaves, oregano, marjoram, parsley, and crushed chili pepper flakes (if you want it spicier). Stir then allow it to come to a boil. �- While that is cooking add your turkey meat into a mixing bowl and add in all the ingredients listed in “meat marinade”, give it a mix then add into the broth. �- Once the turkey meat is in the broth, cover it and allow it to cook for about 40-45 minutes unbothered. �- When the meat is done, shred the meat off and serve by placing some rice down in a bowl first then topping with your soup
