One thing I have always disliked about my artwork is that my style varies by the medium I am using.
Are there similarities? Sure, but I always feel like I’m looking at completely different work.
My acrylic paintings tend to be more pop art like, watercolor markers tend to look more “organic”, sketches tend to be scribbles, and alcohol markers tend to combine all of the above 😂
I think my watercolor markers/sketches tend to reflect my “personal” style the most, whereas my acrylics are more representative of a style I adore.
I did study interior design and loved doing hand renderings. I probably have the most experience with alcohol markers, but they aren’t my go-to.
In a more recent discovery I learned I really love gouache-but it didn’t love me and got moldy and I had to toss it. 😞
