When you only get two and a half kid-free hours, you make them count. Ours were filled with carbs and cocktails!
is where we landed, kid free, to begin our carbtastic dinner. We both chose their tasting menu. A preset menu with salad, fresh baked bread, a pasta selection and dessert.
The tasting menu began with the most delicious savory cannoli I've ever tasted!!! A mini bkack pepper and parmesan cannoli shell filled with a silky, luxurious sundried tomato ricotta and lemon.
We each selected Carmalized Pears as our salad. Wowza was it good. I'd definitely go back just to have the cannoli and salad! The Pears were perfect along with the Prosciutto, Burrata and Balsamic. The only thing that was missing was a slight crunch. Don't get me wrong we were both willing to lick our plates, but with all the textures on the soft side it just needed a crunch. Maybe some roasted and minced pistachios.
For our entres we went our separate ways I had the TyeDye Ricotta Gnocchi, puffy pillows of yum with 3 distinct sauces :Basil Pesto/Marinara/Gruere Alfredo.
My husband selected the Butter Chicken Alla Vodka a modern mash-up which he really enjoyed.
For dessert we shared a slice of Tres Leches Tiramisu and took the second one to go.
After dinner we waddled back to the car feeling the carb coma approaching. We still had about 40 minutes before we had to pick up our kiddo so we catnapped in the car for 20 mins. Lol
Cocktails 🍸 We shared a flight of martinis. 3 FULL SIZED Martinis. I was not expecting them to be the regular size. Don't worry we did not waste a drop!.
Would we go again 100% Yes!
