Currently working on this table and chairs, I will be restaining and finishing the edges, cleaning and polishing the remaining finish. I love working on crafted furniture like this one, built in the 1980's!

Unfortunately there are some really bad painters out there who don't know what they are doing and don't care about the work they are performing. My latest customers had their cabinets painted 2 months ago by such a person, and the cabinets are already peeling, chipping, and flaking away. They were never cleaned, caulked, sanded or primed. The painter (and I use that term loosely) simply went straight into paint without performing all the neccessary prep work first. And this is the end result.

I will turn these cabinets around, though, and make them not only beautiful but very durable, too. Newly painted cabinets should last 10 - 20 years with proper care. You are investing a lot of money in getting your cabinets refinished, make sure you hire a painter who knows what he is doing! - LIKE ME!!
