These Black Dragon coleus cuttings are absolutely brooding and beautiful 🖤🌿 Deep burgundy-black leaves with those electric pink veins — they never get old. Grown from seed, so occasionally you get a little surprise like that chartreuse peeking through. DM me if you're interested!

Let me tell you about this coleus. 🌿

She was packed up with love, soil and all, ready to make her way to Washington state. Then a snowstorm hit. And she sat. And sat. Seven days in transit, and I won't lie — I was worried.

But when she finally arrived? Thriving. Lush. Not a single sad leaf.

Growing some strange fruit this season.

The waiting game. ⏳

Beheaded this beauty at a thick main stem 2 weeks ago - still no visible growth, but that green stem? Totally alive. Just moving on coleus time, not my time.
Here's the thing with thick, woody cuts like this: they can take 3-6 weeks to push new shoots in winter, even under lights. The plant's gathering energy to wake up those dormant buds at the nodes. It'll happen when it's ready.
Patience is part of propagation. Meanwhile, those leaves though. 😍🌱
