We hope all of our friends and followers are okay this morning after the wind and storms overnight. Our thoughts are especially with Sullivan County, Martinsville, Whiteland and Franklin, as well as the communities impacted in Illinois and Arkansas.

As recovery begins, remember to:

☑ Check for damage around your home, roof, windows, or other structures
☑ Check your gates and fences for damage, especially if you have pets
☑ Check tress for loose limbs
📷 Document damage with photos or videos for insurance purposes
📋Keep receipts for any temporary repairs you make to prevent further damage; these may be reimbursable through your insurance claim.

But most importantly: STAY SAFE! 🫶

Home renovations take took long and cost too much. Demand for contractors, plumbers and electricians have surged in recent years. The average home construction project takes three times longer than just a few years ago. Via WSJ:

Labor shortages and high demand have resulted in monthslong slowdowns for people wanting to fix up their homes.

Nothing like the smell of wood chips in the morning. Member #190 had some tree trimmers over today. We've had some strong winds in the Indy area of the past few weeks and have seen an uptick in folks looking for tree service. We have a few companies, but would love to hear if you have any more.
