Nature. The intelligence of crows/ravens and other black birds is amazing. Its currently 114°f air temp. Here in Indio that means at least 10 degrees hotter in the direct sun. This flock of blackbirds sitting in the shade next to water source. Smarter than your average HUMAN!!!

Hi All. i don't know if its delayed reactions or what, but they are ALL GONE. All Donated to and Picked up by UC Riverside. There are no more plants. I continue to get requests to send them to people.

Almost there. The last of the plants are being picked up later this morning. All the Shade Cloth Structures and most of the shelving is also being donated . I am keeping all the pots as of right now. I may have a pot sale just before moving. I figure a total of around 800 plants were donated.

Let me clarify what is happening. I am not giving the plants away. There are being donated to the UC Riverside Master Gardener Program and The Prescott Reserve. It is a tax deduction, good business. I gave everyone 45 days to come over and buy as many plants as they wanted at 60% to 70% less than value. Only 20 people came over and took advantage of the great prices. . So please stop asking for free plants.
