I honestly can’t help but look around and thank God for our community, our employees, our customers, and those who have cheered us on.
Life can really dish it out sometimes but our support system is where it’s at.
Thank you all for being a silver lining in our life. 🥰

I have not posted in a while, I have been holding a secret that I was not ready to share….

For us and many others, there was so much loss, damage, and frustration after the flood. There is panic every time a storm looks a little bigger or heavier than normal.

When it rains it’s hard to make yourself go check that no windows happened to be left down because you know there is nothing like swimming out of your office in the dark of night.

It sounds silly to say out loud and you can immediately tell yourself ‘that is so unlikely’ then it’s followed with the thought ‘but so was that night’.
In time that will pass.

However, this experience has given us the last bit of courage needed to make a big decision;
to recover at a new location.

We never want to question this again, we hope to never have to recover an entire fleet, all the machines, and buildings again. (At least not all at once!

It will take us years to recover just the needed inventory that was lost and there will be many things we never recover and that is ok.

But we are so excited to officially announce that we will be rebuilding at a new location.

Once we really get moving we will give more specifics on the location.

We want to assure our wonderful, supportive customers that this relocation will not affect our service area and our amazing crews will keep on doing what they know best through this transition.

We have been doing our due diligence on plans and cannot wait to see it all come together and how the Lord continues to guide us.

We are so thankful for everyone’s continued support💙

Join your neighbors and friends tomorrow, Saturday 7th from 11-1 for a delicious hot meal, brought to us by HOPE worldwide. They've been manning the Hunt distribution center (the containers filled with donations) for months and they wanted to bless our community with a meal. Bring a friend and let's gather. We miss you!

Thank you Hunt Preservation Society Hope For Hunt and all of our friends who have been pouring out. Good things are coming.

We want to give a📣shout out📣LiftFund US for working diligently with us, helping us though the grant application process, and making it all understandable and approving our business and to The Community Foundation for funding and supporting this grant opportunity to help us and other small businesses recover from the 4th of July flood.
We (and many others) have A LOT left to do, we are so grateful for the support because every bit makes a difference!
This specific grant will help us to recover lost service trucks that our teams needs to continue to serve our community!
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!

(Now to go find the trucks!)

We are very happy to say there have recently been a few grants to help businesses with recovery. Every bit helps!

There has been a lot going on around town in terms of recovery, getting people back into their homes, and a lot that is just ramping up!

It’s been a good start to the year for many in town and lots of momentum that we hope will keep rolling in the recovery scene!

As for us, we have been working diligently on what “being recovered” means.
There are many factors to take in, after 60 years of business there were many valuables that had been collected and it will take a long time to recover all of that.

I will say, I think, understanding that recovery looks different than what was, is an important first step.
Sometimes a fresh start is just what was needed.

God has continually walked this path with us and he has made so much possible. He has brought amazing people into our lives, and we will continue to trust he is paving this path before us.

We sure hope everyone enjoys a warm bowl of soup this weekend and takes some time to stay home and enjoy family! 🥰 🍲
If your power shuts off and/or you think your water lines are frozen remember to shut your breaker off to your well and booster to not burn up your pumps. Also, open the lowest point source of water to help drain the lines and leasen the likes of pipe breaks from expansion. 💧🥶
And if you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to call us! ☎️

📣📣📣 There are reports of a hard freeze 🌨️coming to Texas it is supposed to be in our area this weekend (January 24, 2025)! 📣📣📣

🏠Some Recommendations to prepare your water 💦 system for a 🥶 freeze:

❄️ insulate and cover well head well
❄️ insulate exposed pipes (look for pipes entering and exiting your pump house and storage tanks)
❄️ insulate and put a heating device inside of your pump house
❄️ remove all hoses from hose bibs and cover/insulate hose bibs
❄️ if you lose power the best thing you can do to protect your system is turn off the breakers to it and drain your water lines (so open the lowest point of service)

⛄️Don’t forget to prepare your animals for a freeze as well
