1. I worked at Home Depot for 8 years, and that’s where I learned the power of a slow “no.”

2. I built my business one step at a time while still working in Corporate America.

3. My sister in Christ is the reason I started my business, she spoke life into my life and saw potential in me that I didn’t yet see in myself.

4. I never imagined I’d be responsible for every decision in my business.

5. I never had a front-row seat to a successful business growing up, so I learned by surrounding myself with entrepreneurs who were smarter than me.

6. I’m not technical at all, but God gave me the ability and determination to build my own website.

7. I’ve always valued building genuine relationships, and those connections have played a huge role in my success.

Entrepreneurship has challenged me, stretched me, and taught me lessons I never expected. Every project, every client, and every obstacle has helped shape the woman and business owner I am today.

One of my favorite design moves is adding unexpected art — like a framed photo of Sade, to create a space that feels layered, personal, and unforgettable.
