I buy a lot of plants, with the hopes of keeping them INDOORS, but they just want to be outside. But not this guy. This is the GOLDEN PATHOS, and it does really well anywhere and everywhere.
If it is in FULL SUN outside, it will burn, so it's happiest inside, in a window. His brother is thriving on the lanai as well, it's exposed to the sun partially throughout the day.
You can also take a LEAF, and put it in water, and once it starts to grow some roots, you can PLANT in soil. I won't ever buy another GOLDEN PATHOS again, because you can propagate them endlessly!
I love using a mix of potting mix, and black kow for the soil. If you only have potting mix, that's fine. Always use a plant pot with a HOLE on the bottom. I planted some plants in a pot without a hole on the bottom, and they did NOT thrive.
Please let me know if you want a few leaves off this beauty, to start your own indoor Golden Pathos!
I have a water butt (collects rain water), and I water them infrequently. They don't even need that much water. They are really easy and beautiful indoor plants for the 32259!
