I have all sorts of them coming up in my little compost tub, but this one decided he wanted to see the light of day and made his way out of one of the aeration/drainage holes.

What do you do when your mums fill up the pot nicely as they flower in the spring? You dig out two of the babies and stick them in another container and get a free plant!

Will let the new ones fill out a bit more before deciding what to do with them.

Been busy, busy in the yard lately and don't know why I haven't been posting any of it here. Guess I can start now and fill in the blanks. :)

One current project is to 'prettify' this area where the concrete work is a mess. I used to keep the garbage and recycling cans there and it hid most of it, but I don't like the cans where they're visible (that's another project ... build something to camouflage the cans).

Still haven't decided exactly what to do with this eyesore but I've got a couple of ideas rolling around my head that might work, but need to wait for the rain to abate some before I can continue.

So excited to see this! My boyfriend's aloe plant was completely neglected and I wasn't sure I would be able to save it. I repotted it in soil more appropriate for succulents, watered it good, and started putting it in the little bit of sunshine we'd have here and there or under a fluorescent light for a couple hours a day.

I was gone for about two weeks and told him not to water it or anything while I was gone but try to remember to give it a little light, and I came back to three new babies popping up! I was hoping to be able to get my own plant from his instead of buying one, and I think we just might be able to pull it off.
