I did want to update the borrowers about a change in “policy”. I used to give “1st dibs” to whoever made the first RSVP for a weekend. It has become challenging when the first borrower delays making their selections or sometimes is a no-show. That leaves the other borrower(s) in limbo.
I have had such great borrowers! They can usually work around each other’s requests. So, I will still limit reservations to 2 big events on any given weekend, but allow whoever comes first to list their items. This will let them know that those items should be available for them, and help them plan for their event.
As always, if other small requests come in, Brandy or I will check with the primary borrowers to make sure they don’t plan to use the items being requested.
