Remember the MONSTER steam shower? 👀

This one is officially tiled! 🔥 Nearly 500 sq. ft. of tile went into this massive custom steam shower, and we’re pretty proud of how it turned out.

What a way to finish the week! 🔥

Remember that monster steam shower we showed you earlier this week? Here it is with the tile work complete!

This new-construction project for Goad Construction gave us the opportunity to work on two completely different spaces — a massive steam shower and a second tub surround featuring those 32” × 63” tiles we showed you Wednesday.

The steam shower is roughly 10 feet wide, 7½ feet deep and over 10 feet tall, with room for a 6-foot tub to be installed inside. There was a LOT of tile in this one!

We really like how both of these came together. Now the other trades can work their magic and bring everything else together.

Remember the monster steam shower we showed you Monday?

The homeowners added another shower to the project — and wait until you see the size of the tile going in this one.

These tiles are approximately 32" wide × 63" tall. Yep… each individual tile is over 5 feet tall! 😳

We figured the best way to show just how big they really are was to put one beside us for a little perspective.

This tub surround is prepped and ready, including a new niche, and next comes the fun part — getting these monsters on the walls.

We made sure to get our pictures before the tile goes up, because this is one transformation we're definitely going to want a before and after of.

This one is going to be a MONSTER. 👀🔥

Here’s a look at where this shower started and where we are now.

This shower is approximately 7½ feet deep, 10 feet wide and over 10 feet tall — and when it’s finished, it’ll include a 6-foot bathtub INSIDE the shower and the entire space will function as a steam shower.

There’s a lot that goes into a shower like this before the first piece of tile ever hits the wall. We’ve been working through the prep, waterproofing and getting everything ready for the large-format tile that’s about to start going up.

And if you look closely at that last picture… you’ll get a little preview of the tile. 👀

This is going to be a fun one to watch come together!

Bringing this basement bathroom back to life! 🔨

This one was a lot more than just a tile job.

After a leaking basement wall forced the homeowners to completely gut their bathroom and have the basement professionally waterproofed, we came in to put everything back together.

We reframed walls, hung and finished drywall, painted, installed new LVP flooring, installed the vanity and lighting, replaced the ceiling tiles, and built a brand-new custom tile shower.

The stone shower floor carried into the niche is one of our favorite details on this one. 👌

We may have Tiling in our name, but projects like this are a good reminder that we can take on much more than just the tile.

It’s always satisfying getting to hand a homeowner their bathroom back after something like this.

Well… this wasn’t on the original list. 😂🔨

If you’ve ever remodeled, you probably know how this goes.

We came into this project with several bathroom areas to tackle, and while we were here, the homeowners decided to add one more project—a new tiled shower in the basement.

Right now it may just look like block walls and a work area, but this is the part we enjoy: taking what’s there and figuring out how to turn it into a finished space that looks like it was meant to be there all along.

We’ve still got work ahead of us on this project, so we’ll keep showing you the progress—and eventually the finished result.

New week, new project! 🔨

We’ve got quite a bit happening on this one.

Multiple bathroom areas are getting new tile, along with a tub surround and shower work. Most of the prep is already underway, and there’s going to be a pretty big difference between these pictures and the finished product.

And, as remodels sometimes go, the project has already grown a little since we started. 😂

We’ll take you along as this one comes together.
