Throw Back Thursday

This was a project I completed in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County, back at the height of the pandemic. The client wanted a series of outdoor spaces that complimented their pool area. Their backyard was constantly in direct sunlight, with no escape for the heat or sun glare. They wanted a covered porch, with a gas fireplace and TV for entertaining guests, while also being able to escape the sun. They also wanted a higher tiered, composite deck with seating and outdoor kitchen area. Throw Back Thursday

This was a project I completed in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County, back at the height of the pandemic. The client wanted a series of outdoor spaces that complimented their pool area. Currently under construction in beautiful New Hope, PA. This project has been in development hell for several unfortunate reasons, but is finally under way. This building, which was a defunct Bed & Breakfast, is located in the historic district and had to go through the H.A.R.B. (Historic Architectural Review Board) process.

Working with older buildings can be quite challenging. It’s a balancing act to try to keep the charm of the old historic building while updating it to have the amenities that everyone has grown accustomed too. Planning and having the right team is key. Can’t wait to see it all come together in the spring.

Check out this recently completed primary bathroom addition, in Montgomery County. Bathrooms and square footage can be quite limited in older homes. My client wanted their own bathroom and closet space, so we designed an addition over top of an existing playroom. The builder did a great job with the details and making the addition look like it was always part of the house.

Addition/ Kitchen Remodel
New Hope, PA

This is a recently completed project in Solebury Township, PA. The client wanted to expand and update his existing Kitchen space. We designed a relatively small addition that was approximately 19.5’x4’ (78 sf). This gave us just enough room to give them the Kitchen they always dreamed of, a large island, a coffee station and extra storage. Enjoy!
