Derek's day off so he kindly dod all the daily chores for me while I got some crocheting time. Derek's dad stopped by and gave us some beautiful veggie plant starts so Derek started on the garden and got 4 pepper plants on while I set up the new hammock and screen tent. It's nowhere near the right size to have the hammock stand inside but we can set up some yard chairs and little table for a comfy bug free zone.

A truly confident woman does not feel threatened by other people shining. She understands that another person’s beauty, intelligence, success, healing, or growth does not diminish her own. Insecure people compete for attention because they believe there is limited space. Secure people understand there is room for all of us to become fully ourselves.

Some of the most powerful women are not the loudest in the room. They are the ones who make other people feel seen, encouraged, inspired, and safe enough to grow too. There is something deeply beautiful about a woman who has healed enough to stop viewing life as a competition and start viewing it as connection instead.

Exciting times! We'll be getting a mailbox soon! A real address! No more worrying about what might be delivered to Farmington and needs immediate response. Plans all set up for my Bachelorette party with tarot readings on the June 13th and then our engagement party will be on the 20th. No idea what Derek will end up doing for his bachelor party since he's bad at planning haha. Wedding in September! Insane!
