My little SG40 worked its tail off yesterday. Running in the Florida heat from 0900 to 1700hrs. Only stopping for fuel and grease. Great machine.

Sometimes you spend just as much time chasing roots. This one had suckers coming up 12’ away from the stump.

Finished up a 3hr job with zero issues. On to the next one, then this started..
Any idea what I’m dealing with? I can’t get it running now to finish up or get it back on the trailer. I cleaned the air filter, it’s got a new fuel filter, and the gas isn’t old.
Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Found these chunks of rebar and a horseshoe with my grinder on this job… Cost me three brand new teeth.
Do any of y’all bother using a metal detector before you grind? This isn’t the first time I’ve had this happen and I know it won’t be the last.

Three good sized cedar stumps today. This was the prettiest wood of the three, almost purple most of the way through.
