Coming Soon to a Listing Near You 👀

Between historic requirements, city codes, and everything else in between, this one has taken a lot of care, coordination, and good old fashioned craftsmanship. Our crew has been putting in the hours behind the scenes making sure every detail is done right and respectful to the character of the space.

We are getting close to the finish line and wanted to share a small teaser. A few before moments for now, with the full reveal and after photos coming very soon.

This project has been a journey and we cannot wait to show you the transformation.

What an incredible Friday! 🌳✨

We are still buzzing from our ribbon cutting ceremony today here at Mosswood Building Company. It was such a special moment to celebrate our name transition and the journey that brought us here. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to show their support and share such kind words. The encouragement from our community means everything to us.

We also want to thank the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce for their partnership and support, not only through this event but also during the full kitchen restoration project that served as the other half of today’s celebration. Seeing that space come back to life was a proud moment for everyone involved.

It has been a wild year, but we are rooted deep, locked in, and ready to finish strong while carrying this momentum into the year ahead. None of this could have been possible without our incredible crew, the heart and backbone of Mosswood. Their craftsmanship, dedication, and pride in their work are what allow us to serve our community every single day. They are the living foundation of everything we do.

Here is to growth, craftsmanship, and community, powered by an amazing team and generations of hard work that keep us grounded and growing. 💚🌿

Big momentum today at The Independent! 🏗️✨
Six of the townhouse apartments received their full countertop and cabinet deliveries, and the transformation is really starting to take shape. Seeing finishes roll in is one of the best parts of any project, that moment when a space finally starts to feel like home again.

At Mosswood, part of our process on every project is carefully organizing and checking each delivery before anything enters the building. It is how we make sure nothing shows up damaged, missing, or out of place because every detail matters. 👷‍♂️📋

We are pushing full speed ahead and could not be more proud of the progress downtown!

Hey everyone, check out this project we wrapped up yesterday!

This room started as a cramped 60-inch-wide bathroom that was uncomfortable to even turn around in. With old tile, plaster, and outdated fixtures, it was long overdue for a full overhaul. We blew out a few non-load-bearing walls, re-braced everything in the attic, and gained an extra 30 inches of space to make the room far more functional.

During demo, we discovered the original cast iron and galvanized pipes were beyond saving, so we gutted and replaced them with all new sewer and water supply lines. We also added a new fan, recessed can lights, outlets, and a backlit mirror for modern comfort. Once the new fixtures were installed, we partnered with Neosho Marble and the cabinet company to bring in custom amenities (glass coming soon!).

Beyond the bathroom, we repaired and textured the hallway bath and bedroom, added fresh paint to brighten the space, built a brand-new closet, and finished it off by replacing all the carpet in the house with new flooring. And we did all of this in just three weeks all while the home was being lived in, with this bathroom as the only one in the house. We made sure the water and toilet remained accessible every single day.

🌿 Big News at Mosswood! 🌿

Please help us welcome the newest member of our team Deitrich (“D”)!

For the first time in our company’s history, someone outside of the Tracy family will be representing Mosswood in client relations. D will be working alongside me as our First Impressions Estimator & Project Manager, helping with project walk-throughs, estimates, and networking, while also leading the way on kitchens, bathrooms, and fine finishes.

What we love about D is his drive to keep learning. On the job, he’s leveling up his skills, and off the job, you’ll find him spending time with his family, friends, and dogs or like in this picture, catching up on inspirational books during lunch.

We’re proud to have him on the Mosswood team. Welcome aboard, D!

🚿💡 From Gut Job to Dream Bath 💡🚿

Sometimes the only way to do it right is to start fresh and that’s exactly what we did with this full bathroom remodel. Stripped it back to nothing and rebuilt it into a space that feels brand new, functional, and beautiful.

Big news for this year: we’ve built out a full-time bathroom and kitchen team! That means more availability for remodels and renovations, and it also frees up our other crews to focus on what they do best. In short we’re growing in the right direction, and it means better service all around.
