So thankful to be a 4-H leader and get to share fun, hands-on experiences like this with our kids! Blender-bike smoothies at the Pike Food Forest are seriously one of my favorite family activities. 🤗🌱

I’d love to invite you to join us for our upcoming 10-Day Permaculture Design Course in Jupiter Farms!🪏🪴🫜

This course is about much more than food forestry. Together we’ll learn how to design abundant landscapes, grow nutritious food, restore ecosystems, and build stronger communities through hands-on learning.

Each day includes morning lessons, guided observation walks, harvesting and preparing food from the food forest, indoor design sessions, and afternoon visits to real permaculture sites where we’ll observe, design, and work together.

Pina Colada Pie!! Straight from the food forest! 🌴🥥🍍

One of the most rewarding parts of growing food is turning it into something everyone loves. When the kids ask for seconds, you know you’ve found a winner!

Recipe:
• 3 parts banana
• 2 parts shredded coconut
• 1 part pineapple

Blend in a food processor until smooth. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. If using a mold, de-mold and bake 20 minutes longer.

Simple. Tropical. Delicious. Food forests aren’t just beautiful…they’re dessert factories. We will learn about baking from the garden in the upcoming Permaculture Design Course!
