Maintenance Coat Season is Here! 🍂

Now that the kids are back in school and foot traffic is slowing down, it's the perfect time to give your hardwood floors a fresh maintenance coat before the holidays.

A buff and recoat is designed for floors that have lost their shine or have light surface scratches—but don't need a full sand and refinish. We lightly buff the existing finish, apply a new coat of polyurethane, and restore the beauty while adding years of protection.

Mission, KS wax removal & recoat transformation ✨
A lot of homeowners don’t realize this, but many of the “restore” or “rejuvenate” products sold in stores actually leave buildup on your hardwood over time. Eventually that buildup turns cloudy, streaky, uneven, and can prevent your floors from being properly recoated later on.

Before we could recoat these floors, we had to fully remove the product buildup from years of use. Once cleaned correctly, we completed a professional buff & recoat and brought the floors back to life.

If your hardwood floors are starting to lose their luster, look dull in traffic areas, or seem impossible to get clean anymore… you probably don’t need a replacement floor. You likely need a professional recoat before the wear gets too deep.

Another clean transformation up in the Northland. We extended the hardwood throughout the entire house and tied everything together with a rich Chestnut stain and satin finish.
Big difference when the flooring flows room to room instead of being broken up. The satin finish keeps it warm and natural without too much shine.
