It’s very enlightening and sobering to prep a home for sale after the owner has died. I’ve done it many times and I don’t collect anything today because of it. In the end, the material items we had mean very little. Therefore, I choose to spend my hard earned money primarily on experiences, not things. Like they say, we came in with nothing and we’ll leave with nothing. We’d better enjoy it while we’re here.

You already know this, I’m just reminding you. To create and maintain a beautiful living space in tip-top shape, strive to make one home improvement each day. You’ve got the time, if you make the time. It’s addictive and has become a daily habit for me, and our habits define us. At some point you eventually notice how everything starts falling into place.
