Nothing like matching the texture in a ceiling that’s exactly 100 years old this year. All patched, now needs paint. Pretty sure I ruined my paintbrush this time though.

100 year old house repairs. Don’t like all the stairs to the third floor but it is a cool house.

Whole porch roof was falling apart and dangerous. Doing a little work to make it brand new. Not done yet, still needs some shingles, guttering, and aesthetic work done but it’s coming along.

As of April 7th, A Different Hat Handyman L.L.C. will only be doing emergency calls for the safety of my family, my clients, and myself due to the covid 19 outbreak.

I ask that before you call or message to set up a service call please review these brief questions...

1. Do you have reason to believe that you, or someone in your household or someone who you are in close contact with, has been exposed to COVID-19?
2. Have you, or anyone in your household, traveled abroad in the last 14 days?
3. Do you or anybody in your household currently have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough and/or shortness of breath?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, unfortunately, I will not be able to complete any service requests at this time.

I’m relying on your honesty to help protect my safety during these troubling times.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and know that I regret having to make this decision for a company that I have worked hard to grow and improve over the last nine years. As with all of you, I will be happy when this is over and we can all move back in to our normal routines.

Hard water and galvanized lines make for a bad combo. The chunk at the bottom is a piece that cake loose and stopped the tub from being able to turn off. It also destroyed the new cup seal I put in a week and a half ago.

I wanted to thank all my friends and family who have supported my company over the years. Last year was rough and I made some bad business decisions that cost me. I am working towards being a better business man. My strong points are definitely in the field but will try to do better about posting updates on jobs on here and sharing other small businesses around the metro. Again, thank you for the last seven years.
