Hi KC friends! We’re Almost Free by AG, and we have a crazy new home renovation offer for you. Ever wish you could transform a room in your house without the huge price tag? We’ve got you covered – literally almost for free! Here’s the deal: you supply the materials, and our experienced team will do all the labor free of charge. In return, we’ll film the project and share the makeover on our social media, so you get a beautifully upgraded space and a moment of fame in our fun DIY show!
What We Do:
Needed Fixes - been avoiding or putting off that hole in the wall, loose handrails, small leak, outlet replacement, rotting door frame etc.
Quick Renovation Projects (3 days or less) – Perfect for that guest bathroom refresh (swap out your old boring mirror for an anti fog LED one), a kitchen backsplash, a new patio deck, shed built for extra storage or any mini-makeover you’ve been putting off. We start small so we can finish fast!
Professional Quality, Zero Labor Cost – Pay only for materials, and we’ll bring the tools and elbow grease. It’s our way of building our portfolio while helping the community. Long term would like to grow the page to get businesses to sponsor the material costs so that it's eventually completely free.
Educational & Entertaining Content – We’re not your typical contractors. We’ll turn your renovation into an episode full of useful DIY tips and a few laughs along the way. Expect a mix of HGTV-style how-to moments and some bloopers (because no renovation is complete without a little chaos and unexpected). Our goal is to make home improvement fun for everyone watching!
Who We’re Looking For:
Homeowners in the Kansas City area (Kansas or Missouri side) who have a small project in mind. Ideally, you have a project that can be completed in a long weekend. Whether it’s a dated living room begging for a modern update, a DIY fail you need rescued, or an empty backyard corner that could use a patio, we want to hear about it!
Why Almost Free?
There’s no catch – we get fresh content, you get affordable renovations. Think of it as a win-win: you’ll save potentially thousands on labor, and we get to showcase our work and creativity online. As one of our very first clients, you’ll essentially be getting a professional renovation at cost. Also happy to include (but not required) yourself or young ones how to handle small repairs and such for future needs.
