As much as I’ve not been active on Facebook, I have still been making art! Here is some more progress on this one! This started out as an acrylic piece but I’ve switched over to oil. I find that the blending is fun to work with and the paints are really leading me more than I’m leading it!

Dual canvas project that can be viewed from two different placements. I used film photos I’ve taken for some of the collage and acrylic paint for the subjects.
This project is my narrative on relationships, interdependence, connections, and perception.
I wish I could sit here and explain the symbolism that I put into these pieces: the colors, the negative and positive space, the poses and the pictures. This project really helped me dive into my creative process and made me realize that the perception of art is what it’s important. What do you see? What speaks to you?
