🐾🍑 Thinking of bringing your furry friend to the Parker County Peach Festival? Please read! 🍑🐾

We love dogs, and well-behaved pets are welcome at the Parker County Peach Festival. However, they are not encouraged due to the summer heat and the nature of the event.

The festival takes place on asphalt streets and sidewalks, which can become extremely hot in July and may burn sensitive paw pads. The festival is also very busy, with thousands of people, strollers, wagons, music, and lots of excitement, which can be overwhelming for many pets.

If you do decide to bring your dog, please help keep them safe by:
🐾 Checking the pavement temperature before walking.
🐾 Taking frequent water and shade breaks.
🐾 Watching for signs of overheating.
🐾 Considering protective booties for their paws.

Our goal is for everyone—two-legged and four-legged—to stay safe and enjoy the day! Thank you for helping us make the Parker County Peach Festival a fun and safe experience for all. ❤️🍑
