⚡️ This is why “it works” isn’t always good enough.
The original work included improper equipment for the application, no proper means of bypass, and splices/connections inside the meter socket that should not have been there.
This isn’t about bashing another electrician — it’s about showing homeowners why the cheapest quote isn’t always the cheapest job.
Electrical work needs to be installed correctly the FIRST time, with the proper equipment, proper connections, and in a way that satisfies the utility and applicable code requirements.
A mistake at the service equipment can mean:
❌ No power
❌ Failed inspection
❌ Utility won't energize the service
❌ Paying another contractor to tear it apart and fix it
At Lytle Electric, we believe doing it right the first time is always worth it. ⚡️
Have you ever had to pay someone to fix electrical work that was supposed to have been done correctly the first time?
