It's Aug. 18, 2025 and we have the sweetest corn coming out of our ears, and beets for making pickled beets. The corn is $10/doz. and beets are $1.50/lb.

It's a pretty strange summer. The gardens are spotty but we do have red potatoes, onions, and lots of dill. No picklers but lots of dill! Let us know if you wants some!

It's all abuzz about the rain rain rain. Those crops that are mounded are doing fine. The rest, well we will see. So far, potatoes, onions, broccoli, carrots and beets are surviving. Keep you all posted.

Spring is coming and we are building an ark! This year we are growing mostly root crops, squashes, tomatoes, and corn. Taking it easy, putting the little fishing boat we've had for four years into the water. We'll see.
We were told by MNDOT that we can't have the sign on the highway, so you will have to guess where we live if you come out. No, we will figure out something.
I will keep you posted on this year's progress!
