With the current COVID-19 pandemic affecting all our lives, we are continuing to work with customer and employee safety as our primary concern. Although it varies with jurisdiction, construction is considered an essential business just like grocery stores and pharmacies. As a local small business, I feel a personal responsibility to my employees. All of our local small businesses have the same needs and concerns. Please try to BUY LOCAL during and after this crisis. We have work for a while that is either outdoors or in an indoor environment where we do not come close to others and our employees can practice social distancing. I am optimistic that this pandemic will bring us together as a nation and that we will be more focused on our local economies when we have beaten this enemy. I feel that there will be high demand for all products and services and that the economy will rebound quickly. I just returned from the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show and the International Builders Show in Las Vegas! There just was not enough time to see it all! And by that, I mean the trade shows! I came away with new ideas and increased product knowledge. In addition to the traditional remodeling services we have always offered, We are now assisting with your living in place needs. Held annually for the last 51 years, KBIS is the largest event in North America focused on the kitchen and bath segment, attracting more than 700 exhibitors. Attendees include dealers, designers, architects, remodelers, wholesalers and custom builders from more than 50 countries. Attendees can also take part in more than 90 Voices From The Industry sessions offered by the National Kitchen and Bath Association.

IBS is the largest annual light construction show in the world. Builders, remodelers, developers, architects and other industry professionals from more than 100 countries attend to see the latest products and services from nearly 1,000 exhibitors in more than 200 construction categories. Outdoor Living At It’s Best

If you are dreaming of a beautiful outdoor space, check out our recently completed screened room in the Fairacres neighborhood of Kingsport. You too can have outdoor living at it’s best! Let us plan the perfect space for you.

Prior to the construction of this beautiful outdoor living area, it was an existing concrete slab at the side of the house and in front of a fire pit. It really served little purpose. The new screened room provides more privacy in the fire pit area while creating an excellent venue for entertaining or just chilling out and enjoying your favorite beverage!

We used the SCREENEZE® SYSTEM on this project. ScreenEze is a fixed screen system featuring an Aluminum Base and a Vinyl Cap that when snapped together stretch and secure the screen fabric for you without the need for spline or the old-fashioned staple method.

We also custom build our screen doors in our shop. Our doors are made of fir and feature mortise and tenon jointery. They are full standard door thickness, not the wimpy thin stuff you find in the big box stores that tend to sag and fall apart. In other words, if maintained well, they should last for many years.

I recently posted a notice about our Kountry Kraft line of custom cabinetry. It occurred to me that some might think we are now only doing kitchen renovations.
