Mrs. Homeowner had a deep shelf beside her living room mantel built to hold a 1998 style TV. (Remember how big those were?) so build her custom shelves and cabinet doors. The shelves have a subtle access panel to the cable modem and the cabinet has a little shelf for her CD player.

The original deep bay was for a 1998 style TV. I built standard depth shelves but with access to the cable modem and cabinet doors with a tray for the CD player.
