Today Sunday the Puppy and I took a road trip to Morristown, Tennessee. A really cute little town!
Karm (the Tennessee version of a goodwill for my Texas friends) was having a 20% off everything at 2 locations - one being in Morristown and the other in Jefferson City (possibly, I'm not sure where I was).

I bought some new clothes, nothing exciting, just things I needed. Then Sunday the Puppy and I wandered our way down Main Street. Their historical downtown area was really neat because it was two levels and a skybridge connected the two sides. Just so cool!

And as I was leaving Karm I looked at their free Bible section and saw a translation I had never seen. And when I pulled it off the shelf a butterfly 🦋 flew out! I took a picture of it of course!

Walked through some antique shops downtown. All in all a great day 😊❤️

I finished the booth fluff at the Clinch River Mercantile! It is full of all the things you need for summer decorating - patriotic, ironstone and china pieces for wedding brunches, and more!

I will not be carrying Iron Orchid Designs products anymore in the booth however if you follow The 5th Sparrow No More, I will be posting updates as to how to purchase!

Yesterday I spent seven hours priming drywall and all the other walls in the basement. And I only got the main room done...

Yesterday I spent seven hours priming drywall and all the other walls in the basement. And I only got the main room done.

- I looked like a speckled egg ... white spots of paint on my face, chest, hair...

- I momentarily lost sight in my right eye when a big plop of paint fell exactly so.

The sink downstairs is filled with light fixtures so I had to run (a relative term) upstairs to rinse out my eyeball.
I grab a cup and throw water at my eyeball. Most of that dousing went into my overall pocket and drowned my phone. 😬
Eventually get water into my eyeball and for the rest of the day I was crying paint tears. Which seemed appropriate.

- And you're asking.... are you ready to prime the bedroom? And the answer is heck yeah! Because that means I am one step closer to my tiny home!

Because adventure and exploring is my goal for 2026 ... Sunday the Puppy and I visited Ringgold, Georgia recently.

We walked through the town, wandered in their many antique shops and saw the church where Dolly Parton got married!

Here are a few pictures from the day and if you're local I would recommend a visit to this cute little town!

And they are not sparking anything at the moment 😬
